It's usually packed by the time we leave, so I recommend getting there early if you don't want to wait. Luckily they eat super early so we never have to deal with the crowds. I always look forward to visiting Tower when we're in Quincy visiting my in-laws. Margaritas are good, but they serve them with a TON of ice. Lots of different menu options so everyone can find something. So, if it's really crazy and you're in a hurry, don't order pizza. It can be a bit slow on really busy nights, but you can only fit so many pizzas in an oven at a time. The queso is good and they'll bring you extra chips if you still have some cheese. My go-to meal is chips and queso, a Jeff's special, and margaritas. Half their menu is Italian, half is Mexican. Half is decorated in Italian, the other half is Mexican. We got a beef burito for almost $9 minus the beef! In KC bean burritos are usually $6! She had ordered queso cheese on top but there was only watery lettuce on top and no cheese! The 3 compartment takeout container had so much water in each compartment that we could pour it out of the container! Dad has since deceased and if we ever get back to Quincy we will definitely not be going to the tower.This restaurant has an identity crisis. Had pickle on it and was charged extra for that (which in Kansas city that is a standard condiment and not extra) but did not have ketchup or mustard on it. Came back to visit dad while he was sick and in hospital. Grew up in Quincy and always loved Tony's.
